Loot Homewares

Welcome back to Tweed Talk! This week we speak with Micheal Pedlow (pictured below) owner of Loot Homewares.

Tell us about your journey as a part of your store.

We purchased the store when our son was 6 months old, some 14 years later, we are still part of Tweed Mall.

We always strive to offer unique product lines of the highest quality at affordable prices. Over the years we have both had and seen many changes. We also directly import, this not only allows us to offer those unique lines it definitely makes the store very individual; it also allows us to assist customer in custom pieces. We have also recently opened a 2nd store in Burleigh Heads, so please feel free to pop in and say “hi” if you live over the border.

What products or services do you offer?

Australian Made Lounges ( 3 week lead time), furniture both indoor and out, soft furnishings, fashion Homeware & Home Decor.

We also offer a consultation service which allows us to assist clients with ideas for furnishing any size home, we then can offer great packaged deals on Furniture & Decor. It also allows us to assist clients in customizing Lounges so that they get the perfect fit.

Natasha and I are always around the store along with our friendly & helpful staff Dianne & Kylie.

What’s the key to success in retail?

Customer Service is number one. Supplying customers with new and unique items that are on trend which allow them to create a personal feel in their own homes.

When you’re not in the store, where might we find you, or what might you be doing in your downtime?

When not in the store you will find me chasing after the kids, there are not many days that they do not have something on, be it school based or sport.
